This is the Short Stack version, designed thinner than the standard BB Buddy.

The Short Stack model features a slimmer profile compared to the regular BB Buddy.

It’s ideal for riders using wider cranks such as Odyssey Thunderbolts, or for those who want to grind their crank arms closer to the frame.

Especially recommended for riders who prefer crank arm grinds tight against the frame.

This is a completely new type of BB guard designed to be installed on the non-drive side of the BB. Made from heat-treated 4140 chromoly, it not only protects your frame but also significantly improves slide performance on various grind tricks that contact the BB area.

Installation is simple: remove the spacer cone from the non-drive side crank and replace it with the BB Buddy. Make sure to install it with the flat side facing the BB.

Example shown: Mid BB / 22mm spindle

*Compatible with Spanish BB, but due to the smaller diameter compared to Mid BB, the BB Buddy will protrude more.
*Not compatible with American BB.

*If the BB area of your frame is worn down or deformed, the BB Buddy may not fit properly. In such cases, the BB shell may need to be resurfaced or adjusted. Please consult a BMX shop or perform the modification yourself before installation.
