The recommended age is only a guideline. We recommend measuring your child’s head circumference and checking that it matches the size chart before purchasing.
NINA is a girls’ model built around three key ideas: safety, comfort, and cuteness. It features pop-inspired colors and design elements that young riders will love.
Equipped with bern’s original ZIP MOLD+ technology, the helmet offers excellent impact resistance while remaining lightweight and comfortable to wear.
The visor-equipped inner liner around the head, where sweat tends to build up, can be removed and washed to help keep both the liner and helmet clean. The liner also features the EZ-FIT adjustment system at the back, allowing easy size adjustment with Velcro to accommodate a child’s growing head. From everyday rides with parents to active use on balance bikes, this helmet supports a wide range of riding situations.

■ How to Measure
1. Locate the temples
Before measuring, identify the position of the temples. Place your finger at the base of the ear—just above that point is the temple area.
2. Measure with a tape
Use a measuring tape and wrap it around the head, starting from one temple, across the forehead, to the opposite temple, and around the back of the head to complete the full circumference.

■ About bern Helmet Fitting
Based on repeated wear tests conducted by bern Japan together with the U.S. headquarters, the recommended best fit is when you can slide one index finger between the helmet and the head. In other words, a slightly relaxed fit is considered ideal.
However, depending on usage, some users may prefer a tighter, more precise fit. Please note that the cm size chart shown on the product page is provided as a guideline, and the actual fit may vary from person to person.

* Due to production timing, the logo print position on the front of the helmet may differ slightly from the product images. This is not considered a defect. Returns or exchanges based on logo placement, as well as requests for specific print positioning, cannot be accepted.
When installing a winter liner on models that come with an all-season liner with an integrated visor, the entire liner must be replaced. Please note that the helmet will be without a visor when the winter liner is attached.
