A completely new BB guard designed to be installed on the non-drive side of the bottom bracket. Made from heat-treated 4140 chromoly, it not only protects the frame but also significantly improves slide performance on a wide range of grind tricks where the BB area makes contact.
Installation is simple: remove the spacer cone on the non-drive side crank and replace it with the BB Buddy. Make sure to install it with the flat side facing toward the BB.
Installation example shown: Mid BB with 22mm spindle.
* Compatible with Spanish BB as well, however due to the smaller diameter compared to Mid BB, the BB Buddy will protrude further. Not compatible with American BB.

* If the BB area of your frame is worn down or deformed, the BB Buddy may not fit securely. In such cases, the BB area should be faced or cleaned up by a BMX shop or by yourself before installation.
