This time will be with Rob Dolecki for the Travelers Interview.
I am honored to do this interview with one of the legendary photographer from the BMX world.
To take a riding photo with Rob was one of my dream and can’t still believe it came out true.
Interview is about him self, about “Maintain”, what he looks for the Japan scene, and for the BMX future.
This is what the real man gives, who rides over 34 years, shot photos with much legendary riders, and still rides and film in middle of the real scene.
FISE World contest held in Hiroshima Japan for the first time in Japan this March.
Cedric de Rodot who came as the official cameraman of this contest for the interview of a magazine called FISE UP published by FISE, he stayed in Tokyo fortotal two weeks.
He is cheerful and bright, he always tells a joke, but he takes seriously more than others when the shooting starts. I also got an impression that also set camera settings and lighting settings as long as he can.
His shooting style that I felt was particularly peculiar. Not only skills or tricks but also express throughout the city through BMX are accepted very naturally, despite being new and unusual.
I tried an interview with him about what photograph means for him and how the city of Tokyo was reflected.
Almost a month ago, our friend Archie who is from England gave us a contact that he is coming back to Japan with his two buddies for riding. Archie was the second time to come here to Japan but last time we couldn’t ride much because for the shitty weather and also it was a short trip. This time he was back for over three weeks so there was no worries for and with Zac and Chase who’s a good friends of him. We explored as much as we can in the Tokyo streets. It’s always a great moment to share our spots, minds, and cultures with people from other countries.
This is an interview about for there trip in Japan.
Probably you know that Greg Henry from Ontario, Canada was in Tokyo for his vacation.
We hungout most of the days with him and enjoyed the Tokyo street. So we wanted to do this interview what he felt about Tokyo, and for the Japan BMX scene.
